To fit 18 inch chest and is knitted in vintage 3ply which will be nearer modern 4ply. Always work a tension square and for smaller size try modern 3ply.

There are instructions for a dress, jacket, petticoat, bootees and little bonnet with frilled brim and there is a shawl below all knitted in a very traditional fan stitch. To fit 18-19 inch chest and is knitted in vintage 3ply which will be nearer modern 4ply. Always work a tension square and for smaller size try modern 3ply. Dress could be made a little longer for a christening ensemble.

No size given for this one but look like it might be about 18 inch chest. Work a tension square and see how many stitches to the inch then you will be able to see the finished size. The shawl pictured below matches this set and measures 55 inches square. Instruction how to make a larger or smaller size included.
