Dewhursts 6041: Fabulous crochet pattern 1950s. What a great gift idea for this Christmas! These colourful plates and bowls are crocheted in cotton and then stiffened with sugar. My great aunt use to make them - everyone had at least one - she also used to make the most beautiful swans and dressing table boxes in the same way.
