Weldons 577cr: Great vintage bedspread CROCHET pattern from 1940s. This super little pattern is so typical of the era and would have been available in the 1930s as well. The classic bobble motif is worked in thick cotton with large hook and a single motif measures 9 inches. (4 oz (approx  120g makes 3 squares).  There is also a simple square on the back page for making a baby cot or pram blanket. From the illustration it looks a 4ply cotton or art-silk yarn is used for the bedspread and thicker softer cotton for the pram cover.
