ladies vintage service jumper WRAAF

Bestway 908w2: Isn't this fabulous? War-time pattern for the girls in the W.A.A.F - my mother was a driver in air force during the war and instantly recognised this pattern - every girl knitted in those days, even their stockings and underwear if you wanted to keep warm in chilly billets. This one is to fit a trim 32-34 inch bust. (easy to enlarge, just add a few stitches at each side to make up width - work a tension square first to establish how many stitches you need per inch or knit in a thicker ply)
