vintage ladies thick jacket knitting pattern from 1930s to fit 36-38 inch bust
Lee 222: Great vintage ladies country jacket knitting pattern from 1930s. This super pattern is in a thick yarn known as fleetknit in the 1930s and 1940s. It was the forerunner to double knitting as it was double the ply of the thicker wool that was available at the time, which was similar to 4ply. This yarn would probably have fallen in between double knitting and Aran as the tension is 4 stitches to an inch on size 4(6mm) needles. So try an Aran and change needles to suit. To fit 36 and 38 inch bust. A wider button band give the larger size! Worked in three shades. A dark, medium and light. great for golfing - get that vintage look!

vintage long line jumper knitting pattern from 1950s munrospun
Munrospun 5725: Great vintage ladies long line jumper knitting pattern from late 1940s. This design is so well shaped, neat and elegant, with a square neck line and short sleeves. Knitted in 33 and 35 inch bust. The wool use is probably a 4ply, always work a tension square and change needles to get correct tension
