vintage baby knitting patterns Bairnswear 63: Vintage knitting pattern for dear little romper suits for baby boys. These little garments are coming back into fashion, I can see why! Although I had little girls, many of my friends in the 1960's made these for their little boys and all my brothers through the late 1940's and 50's wore these, so practical and so much nicer than jeans or babygro. These are for 9-12 months, to fit 21" chest to 23" chest, to make smaller use modern 3ply and smaller needles, they look fabulous on reborn babies too.

vintage baby knitting patterns Bairnswear 65: Vintage knitting pattern for boys first suit. This pattern is from the 1920's when this type of suit was so popular. The little jumpers are so sweet, chest 19" to 21" knitted in vintage 3ply, so try modern 4ply or stick with modern 3ply if you would like the jumper or knickers to be a bit smaller. I have made the 2nd one down for one of my big vintage dolls, who is new born baby size, and it looks great in duck egg blue, also a popular colour of the time, I just used size smaller needles and modern 3ply.
